Announced in August 2007, The iMac (Mid 2007) featured a striking new aluminum case design made clear reference to the recently released iPhone. The iMac (Mid 2007) also included a new, extremeley-thin aluminum keyboard. The iMac (Mid 2007) shipped in three configurations: 20"/2.0 GHz/1 GB RAM/250 GB HD/128 MB VRAM/SuperDrive/$1199, 20"/2.4 GHz/1 GB RAM/320 GB HD/256 MB VRAM/SuperDrive/$1499, and 24"/2.4 GHz/1 GB RAM/320 GB HD/256 MB VRAM/SuperDrive/$1799. A high-end BTO model was also available, with a 2.8 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo Extreme processor and a 500 GB hard drive, for $2299
